Even today there is nothing really wrong with it, when it comes to finding the memory related errors.
The "Ram Test" application I mentioned before fixes all of those faults, while matching or excelling in capability of finding the memory errors. I'd also like to mention that I "know" the author of "Ram Test" and that I had a role in it's conception. In I had to run memory tests basically daily basis Ryzen. While the HCI being the only tool available, that almost a daily task was extremely time consuming and tedious due to the fact that HCI Memtest was so slow even when multiple instances were run simultaneously.
When the first versions of "Ram Test" became available, it was really a god sent despite the fact that the performance wasn't even at the same levels as it is today. Learn More. Show only OP. Testing memory with hci memory test, it looks like you need to run one per CPU thread.
Memtest64 is a much better solution for testing in Windows, you just choose maximum mem which it is at by default anyway and press Begin Test. The prog then pages out everything to the pagefile and uses all the memory that's left. You just leave it running. I would enable GDM and see if that clears up any errors. Then go from there. Joined Sep 14, Messages 3, WHEA errors will come up fast in desktop and is my first sign before I ever need to start torture testing that whatever change to timings or voltages made things unstable already. Also in my case it revealed that my motherboard dynamically adjusts RAM voltages depending on load. Which is retarded because say my timings can be stable at 1. So super low latencies are out of the question because they wouldn't be stable at 1.
I still don't know if this isa bug or a feature. But it allowed me to better understand some things and compensate. Finds errors early on quickly. If it errors - back to the drawing board. Usually if it doesn't find errors within the first 3 hours it'll probably pass an overnighter, but I've had a few rare instances where it failed hours in.
I do this as the 3rd step after each timing-set adjustment, before moving on to the next batch of timings I'll work on. So gaming throws the entire package at it. Just play a demanding game an hour or two. If it doesn't crash, and the above tests pass, that's when I personally call it stable.

That it is but unfortunatly it is a bit slim on specifics for Ryzen. Not much info on RTT other than to say it can affect stability significantly is one example. I'm on a different platform altogether so YMMV. PBO is on and CO also so my boost clocks are back to 5.
Now I can move on to testing at You will probably find that you can run GDM disabled but that it requires getting some other settings right. Here are my settings with 4 sticks of A2 b die.
